We didn’t need a Reuters fact-check about that video of Vice President Kamala Harris laughing awkwardly when asked a question about the Ukrainian refugee crisis — we’ve already been informed by “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin that criticism of her inappropriate laughter is “based in racism” and “that’s the truth of it.” But now Reuters, several days later, is telling us that the clip was taken out of context.
A clip taken out of context on social media actually shows U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and Polish President Andrzej Duda laughing briefly at confusion over who should answer a question first between translations https://t.co/n7O3X5DNgt pic.twitter.com/lWQB0svMyf

That’s a great start, but could Reuters now go back and fact-check every time Harris has broken into that signature cackle? It seems to happen a lot, like last summer when she was asked about visiting the border, so maybe that’s why people misinterpreted the video.
How can I apply to be a fact-checker and just pick and choose my narrative for everything as fact 🤣

Here comes damage control…

Is this considered a W for team Kamala? 🤣

Confusion. She is a clown there is no confusion

Nothing was out of context. She’s in over her head and everyone, especially every world leader is fully cognizant of that fact.
She is the sole reason they’ve yet to invoke the 25th.— Ace (@Ace09095754) March 15, 2022
Why is she always laughing? No one takes her seriously. We need someone with a poker face and some conviction. Not someone that laughs after every f-ing sentence.

As you are trying to defend the indefensible, you're just making matters worse. She cackled like she always does, and since she lives in a different planet, she was oblivious to the fact the optics were, again, awful. This time at the international level.

No, stop this shilling 💩 for Democrats. I viewed it live. She laughed attempting to "squirrel". She's embarassing to the US.

The question was directed toward her. It was very direct. Good try though.

Thanks for this. When I saw with my own eyes that Harris was unprepared for the question and tried to laugh it off with a nonsensical comment, I was embarrassed.
Now that you’ve determined my own eyes to have deceived me, I feel much better…

Fact-checkers are no different than mainstream media outlets like CNN; you not only have to question what they’re telling you, but also why they pick the things they do to cover or fact-check. President Biden keeps telling us spending more will reduce inflation — fact-check that.
