This is kind of interesting. Gun control organization Everytown has posted an opening for a constitutional law fellow to join Everytown Law’s Second Amendment practice, “which focuses on defending life-saving gun safety laws against Second Amendment and related constitutional challenges in federal and state courts across the country.”
Everytown is looking for a "constitutional law fellow" because "the Supreme Court [is] poised to decide the first major Second Amendment case in more than a decade" https://t.co/NXQ6JHoa1O pic.twitter.com/1D25nOJFAL

Qualifications include a commitment to social justice; experience working with marginalized communities and survivors of trauma is a plus. The best one they saved for last: Second Amendment experience not required.

This is our chance to get a pro-2A plant in Everytown. Who will take one for the team? 🙂

Base pay $85k for a job requiring a JD 😬
— Wags (@40runner1) February 22, 2022
$85K will ensure you get a real top notch JD!
I think that's the average yearly student loan payment for them, no?

It’s pretty clear Everytown sees the Second Amendment as nothing more than an obstacle to be removed.
This is huge. It's Everytown anticipating going on the defensive.
Might there be a well placed source at SCOTUS they have access to? If so, it means they believe the upcoming ruling is going to be far wider in scope than just NY.
