As Twitchy reported earlier, Rebel News’ Ezra Levant that the CBC was combing through that list of Freedom Convoy donators hacked from GiveSendGo and emailing them. You might remember that at least two police officers were fired after each was found to have donated $25 to Kyle Rittenhouse’s legal defense fund after GiveSendGo was hacked — the same Rittenhouse who was found not guilty. What’s the end game here for the CBC?
Well, it’s not just the CBC. Canadian broadcaster CTV is in on it too. Anchor Graham Richardson says he’s spent the last two days calling people on that hacked list “trying to understand why they support this” — and then he adds the hashtag #OccupiedOttawa, if you were wondering where he stands on the protests.
Have spent the last two days calling local people who have donated to the trucker convoy. Including a former MP, several business owners, health care professionals and a property developer. Trying to understand why they support this. Very few calls back #ottnews #OccupiedOttawa

Could it be you, et al have lost trust & credibility with the majority of people? Self reflection can be healing..

Stasi.

Call me. It's not us vs the truckers, it's the truckers and us vs a government that won't engage in a civil discussion with hard working citizens. This could easily be you, with your own issue against the government. Help our brothers!

Because your network would run the small clip that will twist the perception of it or will use the most extreme ones to make your point. No one should return your calls on this matter, the names were leaked illegally, not that you care or anything.

Few calls back because people are done with the government media!!
— Red Beard ⚡ (@CaptRedbeard419) February 15, 2022
How did you get their information Graham?
— Yellow Zubmarine (@laphengas) February 15, 2022
Journalism is just doxxing and harassment now
— ClownPatriot🚀 (@ClownPatriot) February 15, 2022
How do you not understand why people support this?
While you're cashing a multiple six figure salary carrying the water for unnecessary pandemic restrictions, most of the country has suffered massively for the last 2 years.
— Joe (@LifeOfDefiance) February 15, 2022
Because they know you'll just twist their words.
— Jared Brackett 🗯 (@JaredBCBW) February 15, 2022
This has been tough on all of us, it’s time to unite now though. It should bother every Canadian that the government can now freeze your bank account if you engage in civil unrest.

Have you asked the truckers….a few questions like: how many are vaccinated…how many are essentially isolated by the nature of their business…how are their incomes altered by severe quarantine mandates? Get to the trucker facts. You'll know why people believe it's necessary.

The perspective is freely available to see on this very platform and across social media platforms. Maybe try getting out of your bubble for goodness sakes. This is either in bad faith, or due to willful blindness.
— Andre St. David (@DreStDavid) February 15, 2022
I would guess and it is just my opinion, the reason they are not calling back is because trust in the media, rightly or wrongly, is currently at rock bottom. Once things get to that stage, it is very hard to reconcile.

“Hi. You don’t know me. But I am writing a hit piece on people like you. Could you provide a quote so I can have a exemplary deplorable to kind of give it a human touch?”
— BalG (@WhatIsBalg) February 15, 2022
Why is it your business who they donated to that’s the bigger question
— Proudmom! (@Tktm4luvHansen) February 15, 2022
Looking more and more like a modern day witch hunt.
— Terry M (@Twitpigeon) February 15, 2022
If you need it explained to you. You are part of the problem.

Good job comrade
— Trask Ulgo (@Boomer__Madness) February 15, 2022
They already made their position loud and clear with their donations, they don't need to justify their defense of anti-totalitarianism to you.

Where do I donate?

Imagine thinking you’re the good guy here 🙄
— Bequietandpetdogs (@bequiet_petdogs) February 15, 2022
Because it's none of your business why they support it.
— 416 Guitarist (@416Guitarist) February 15, 2022
Is that sincerely your motive? Trying to understand or is it to elicit a sense of fear?
— Latavius Manfred (@LataviusManfred) February 15, 2022
You're literally confused about why people support freedom of choice?
Are you confused about the great reset?
Are you confused about democracies and autocracies or dictatorships?
Please let us know what else you're confused about so we can help
— Brian Sells (@BitcoinCityReal) February 15, 2022
You might receive a call back if the network you worked for had any integrity whatsoever.
— Alex Hunter (@AlexHun32163649) February 15, 2022
Doxing those people was criminal. Now you're using criminally obtained private information to harass and intimidate them?
— Corn Honker (@Con_reezy) February 15, 2022
Twitter certainly doesn’t seem to be enforcing the “hacked information” policy it allegedly used to explain why it wouldn’t look into the Hunter Biden laptop story, and the CBC and CTV don’t seem to care that the information was hacked either. And they’re curious why people aren’t calling back?
