As The Daily Signal reports, Virginia mother Merianne Jensen asked the Prince William County Schools superintendent a year ago what she could do about getting masks off of kids and was told the “her hands were tied” by Gov. Ralph Northam’s mask mandate for students. Jensen notes that things have changed — Northam isn’t governor anymore, and Gov. Glenn Youngkin has signed an executive order banning schools from mandating masks (which has some school districts filing lawsuits).
We’ve heard stories from Virginia of kids who arrive at school maskless being segregated into “alternative” classrooms where they can pursue independent study. This mom isn’t having it and let the school board know.
SHE HAD THE RECEIPTS: Last year the Prince William County School Superintendent claimed “her hands were tied” by then-governor Northam's mask mandate for students…

I LOVE seeing moms and dads teeing off against anti-science mask mandates being imposed on their kids. The Biden administration would call this Virginia mom a domestic terrorist. I call her a hero. Enjoy: pic.twitter.com/zVzg8dDMdb

I just wish we could have seen the look on the superintendent's face when she was reminded of her own quote.
No wonder they want to hide their faces.

Well said.

I’m anxiously waiting to see the Biden administration declare victory against COVID in the next few weeks. Everything they did to “protect us” worked. That will be the new narrative.

It’s impossible to comprehend the destruction that’s been inflicted on an entire generation of kids. Consistently traumatized day in and day out for years. This will lead to chaos as they age and will be humanity’s gravest mistake.

The board looks ridiculous in the masks.
They need to be removed.— Michael Fee (@fee36912) February 3, 2022

She brought the facts. And she’s right. They are picking and choosing which orders to follow and it’s wrong.

What is so ridiculous here is that in VA, you can still have your child wear a mask if you prefer and if you still think it is effective in preventing covid. Yet, here we are… ostracizing, suspending, and trying to charge kids for not wearing a mask. Shameful.

They can vaccinate kids as young as 5 now, but even the president is saying to wear a mask in public even if you’ve been vaccinated and boosted:
Get vaccinated.
Get boosted.
Wear a mask while you’re in public. We are going to get through this together.

So when do the kids finally get to take off the masks?
