White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain is usually on Twitter retweeting any positive spin on the Biden administration from the usual suspects, like Jennifer Rubin and Max Boot. But after the Supreme Court put the brakes on President Biden’s OSHA vaccine mandate for private businesses, Klain couldn’t just sit there and let conservative CNN political commentator Alyssa Farah Griffin point out the flaws in Biden’s vaccine strategy, which seems to have just been to keep appearing on TV telling people to get it.
Problem with Biden’s vaccine strategy from the outset: 1) he completely skipped over trying to educate & persuade vaccine skeptics & went straight to mandates, which makes many skeptics dig in their heels
2) Virtually no one thought the mandate would ultimately hold up in Court

So here we are: people are as divided as ever on vaccines. I have to wonder if spending a few months engaging in targeted public awareness campaigns dispelling fears & myths about the vaccine would have done more good in terms of getting shots in arms
— Alyssa Farah Griffin (@Alyssafarah) January 13, 2022
I know a few smart women who were nervous to get the vaccine before getting pregnant or when getting pregnant. And as much as we’d like to assume everyone’s personal doc is telling them the medical consensus, some aren’t. These people are persuadable.
— Alyssa Farah Griffin (@Alyssafarah) January 13, 2022
Klain joined in with the chorus of people in Griffin’s replies telling her how wrong she was:
We didn't impose ANY vaccine requirements until August, and the one the Court stayed today was not announced until September. These requirements were used only after persuasion, incentives ($100 to get a vax), and final FDA approval were all in place. https://t.co/fHiM9Fvz0S

We honestly think Biden thought he could assume office and simply persuade everyone in the country to get vaccinated with his charm.
Please don't ever change, Ron.
You're nailing it!

Thanks for ending the vaccine mandates, Ron! Very cool!

It turns out Klain did play a part in SCOTUS’ decision.
They literally cited your retweet claiming it’s a work around to force vaccinations.

🤡 😂
nice retweet, btw!

The greatest attempt at tweeting through it of all time my dude
— DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY (@MaybeDicksOak) January 13, 2022
You gotta put down the phone, man. You're admitting it's simply coercion to whip vax uptake numbers after persuasian and incentives didn't work as well as hoped.

Bro, just stop. Most of the millions of healthcare workers y’all forced out of their jobs had acquired immunity from getting infected while trying to save lives before the vaccines were approved. That’s a hell of a way to reward their service by the way.

Final FDA approval for a drug that has yet to touch American soil
— ACW III (@acw37162) January 13, 2022
Is the vaccine that was fully approved by the FDA the one currently being used? If I was to go ask for the shot by name, where would I be able to receive it?
— Benjamin (@TeamBegan) January 13, 2022
Hey Ron, Twitter is not real life. Also, no FDA approved vaccines exist in the US. Cominarty is not in production or being given to any patients. You guys need some major help. Maybe pivot and focus on the economy?

Take the L, bro.

“Persuasion”. Ron thinks his boss calling us names and threatening us is “persuasion”. I got vaccinated right away but even I know this mandate is crap.
— Jimmy Two Shoes (@JimmyTw13837513) January 13, 2022
Lol. I hate to be that disrespectful, but nothing from this administration was persuasive or educational. A ton of mixed messages and statements that go against what studies have shown.

HOW ARE YOU SO BAD AT THIS?!?
Klain: It was an emergency!
Also Klain: We waited months before imposing this emergency standard.

Congrats on one of the most epic failures in the history of US politics
— Ian Miller (@ianmSC) January 13, 2022
And he played a part in it, as usual.
