WaPo: Sen. Ted Cruz says a Biden impeachment is likely if Republicans retake the House

Sen. Ted Cruz reported said in a recent podcast that “what’s good for the goose is good for the gander” and theorized that Republicans would likely impeach President Joe Biden if (when) they retake the House. The thing, we suppose, is settling on what to impeach him for — he’s already said that a president with so many COVID deaths under his administration shouldn’t be president.

Cruz probably just threw this out on a podcast as part of a line of questioning but the Washington Post seems to be taking it very seriously.

That’s exactly the thing, and the point Cruz is making — impeachment has been normalized now. If Trump’s “perfect phone call” with Ukraine got him impeached, imagine what they have on Biden.
