As Twitchy reported earlier, President Joe Biden was scheduled to give a speech Tuesday updating the nation on the state of the COVID-19 pandemic in the face of the Omicron variant. That he did, but he also wandered into Build Back Better territory after he started taking questions from reporters — after which he told them “I’m not supposed to be having this press conference right now.”
Is this another one of those times when he’s going to get in trouble for talking to the press?

Who is telling him not to have a press conference? This is surreal.

He’s not supposed to take questions. Pelosi made it very clear that she does not want him talking.

The White House announced on Saturday that he’d be giving a speech Tuesday, so it’s not like he didn’t have time to prepare for questions.
