It was Nov. 21 when Darrell Brooks rammed his SUV into a crowd at the Waukesha Christmas Parade, killing six people. On Nov. 30, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis slammed the media for its apparent lack of interest in the story, saying the corporate press “are more apt to characterize a parent who protests bad policies at a school board meeting as a ‘domestic terrorist’, than somebody who intentionally rams an SUV into a crowd of innocent people.”
Waukesha isn’t forgotten, though. Next Wednesday, first lady Jill Biden and second gentleman Douglas Emhoff will make a stop there.
NEW: First Lady Jill Biden and Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will visit Waukesha, Wisconsin Wednesday — weeks after deadly attack on Christmas Parade.

What a joke. It’s the other two clowns that should be showing face. Again I’m at a loss for words and those running what used to be a great country.

Don’t try to convince us that Vice President Kamala Harris is too busy.

What took them so long to even send the B Team?
— Kelkat (@Tweetytweeter63) December 11, 2021
I'm taking it that Biden isn't going and will never go because the people of Waukesha probably hate him.
— Riker Longwan (@LongwanRiker) December 11, 2021
Wtf does it even mean sending the husband of the vice president, who's useless herself?

Too little, way too late.

Hopefully they get booed right out of there. Completely tone deaf and way too late. Someone from the “administration” should have been there weeks ago.

Oh, that's nice. I'm sure the families of the racially-driven terrorist attack will feel really happy to be considered a several-week long afterthought.
— Driver (@wantatoothpick) December 11, 2021
Serious question: Is it a bigger insult to send the spouses or to just not show up at all? Doug Emhoff?
