Jimmy Fallon’s been posting about his new Christmas single with Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion … consider a three-minute endurance test if you like. According to “It Was a … (Masked Christmas),” we’ll be in line for a booster, but we’re also wearing masks this holiday. Unfortunately, they took the masks off when it was time to hit Record. Masks are both on and off throughout the video, so who knows?
Oh boy, Jimmy Fallon made a COVID-themed Christmas song with Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion https://t.co/5JRZQwAOyH pic.twitter.com/hleeKJBVgx

Stereogum reports:
Jimmy Fallon, Ariana Grande, and Megan Thee Stallion’s new song “It Was A… (Masked Christmas)” is not a Tonight Show sketch. It’s an actual single, released on a major label, that is definitely aiming for radio play and streaming numbers. It has Jimmy Fallon singing through Auto-Tune about getting bad wifi for his Zoom Christmas party. Apparently, somebody somewhere still thinks that this kind of thing is funny, or charming, or cute! Somebody sees enough potential into this to put serious money into it!
It’s about as funny as a “Tonight Show” sketch. Click if you dare:

It’s real and it’s spectacularly bad. Will it surpass sales of “Let’s Go Brandon”? We doubt it.
