Remember when Reuters ran a photo of those five Democrat stooges in ball caps, khakis, and sunglasses and holding tiki torches next to Glenn Youngkin’s campaign bus? Reuters tweeted that a “group of anti-Trump Republicans was behind tiki torches in Virginia campaign.” It just went to show how much The Lincoln Project can capitalize off of calling themselves Republicans while urging everyone to vote straight Democrat (they lost in their bid to elect Terry McAuliffe and are now setting their sights on Republican J.D. Vance in Ohio — just what a Republican group would do).
Joe Walsh is a NeverTrumper too, but after McAuliffe went down in flames over GOP fear-mongering and culture wars, he’s — wait for it — considering becoming a Democrat so he can help Democrats like McAuliffe fight back against it.
As someone who used to actively practice in all this culture war stuff and understands it intimately, I think maybe I’ll become a Democrat to help Democrats learn how to fight back against Republican fear mongering and thereby win the culture wars by actually persuading voters.

That’s a really big step — is he seriously considering this? Consider us shocked.
Yeah, you go do that.

I get it. Grift dollars are easier over there.

That’s a productive solution.

He's determined to be on the losing side of the culture war no matter what
— Keith Maniac, from Guatemala (@from_maniac) November 3, 2021
So his pitch is that he’s going to teach the Democrats how to fear-monger?
Somebody really needs to tell that guy that his fifteen minutes were up years ago.

What an absolute clown

I'm glad he's found a home? Hopefully they'll take him…
— Regs (@r3gulations) November 3, 2021
His replies are stuffed with Democrats practically begging, saying they need all the help they can get, so clearly they’re taking Tuesday night well.
