Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t made it to the border yet, but she is keeping on the move. Her Twitter account on Monday tweeted a short video of her walking from her SUV to her private plane to fly to Lake Mead in Nevada to discuss the climate crisis.
Today I’m heading to Lake Mead in Nevada to discuss the climate crisis–and why we must make historic investments to not only create jobs, but preserve our planet for generations to come. pic.twitter.com/VDk1BoYcBN

Wait a minute, that's not the border!

What happened to those 12,000 or so migrants under that overpass? It seems to have disappeared from the news.
Discussing the climate crisis by hopping on a great big fume chugging jet plane

One gal on a 767….to go save the planet huh. You must be a democrat….
— College Football Season Erik (@winefishdawg) October 18, 2021
You’re going to discuss the climate crisis whilst travelling on a private jet 😂😂😂
— Chad (@chadissacclark) October 18, 2021
In your private oversized jet…What a rich tweet.

At over 1,000 gallons of jet fuel per hour, (not to mention all of the SUVs involved) this trip will result in burning over 10,000 gallons of fuel.
Well done!

You should have ridden your bike if you really cared.
— Laurie (@WaltsPrincesss) October 18, 2021

You should’ve walked there.
— Nate (@AbuTruth) October 18, 2021
Can’t you leave the plane home and participate via Zoom? Climate crisis, right?
— fatfingers (@esstrat) October 18, 2021
Sure glad you couldn’t do that via Zoom or FaceTime.
— Chris White (@ChrisWhitePE) October 18, 2021
While you’re there – see if they can set up Zoom. Should make things a lot easier for the next meeting.
— Ed Gallagher (@ejgallagher1) October 18, 2021
Just do it through Zoom.
— PATRIOT (@Factsmatter93) October 18, 2021
Wouldn't the climate crisis be better addressed on Zoom rather than burning thousands of pounds of jet fuel to travel to Lake Mead?
— Thomas Underdahl (@tcunderdahl) October 18, 2021
I feel like it might have been more environmentally friendly to have a discussion such as that through technology rather than burning fuel? 🤷♀️
— Crystal ❤️ (@CrystalHourie) October 18, 2021
Do you think it's appropriate to communicate this message while boarding a large jet?
— Philadelphia Libertarian 🗽🦔 (@Philadeliberty) October 18, 2021
…….as she boards a jumbo jet 🤡 how did people vote for this duo?
— FitLakeMom (@FitHencyeFamily) October 18, 2021
"Climate Crisis!!" — also — "Private Jets!!"
— Five Times August (@FiveTimesAugust) October 18, 2021
Sort the border while you're going that way
— Noz (@MemelordNoz) October 18, 2021
I notice the southern border still isn’t in the agenda 🤔
— Mitch Blackwell (@mitchtblackwell) October 18, 2021
Any opportunity to avoid the border crisis…
— Mike Mason (@MikeMason830) October 18, 2021
That’s pretty close to the border . Sit on the right side of the plane on the way out. Not a real problem if you cant see it
— william knight (@william54957057) October 18, 2021
Are you still looking for the root cases of the border crisis or nah?!
— Y (@ycamejo) October 18, 2021
Exit question:
who thought these walking moments are good?
— Sully 🍄 (@TeeenTaal) October 18, 2021
They should have hired child actors to wave goodbye as she took off.
