Fact-check: Rep. Jared Huffman says the Build Back Better Act costs $0, explains how it will be paid for

We get that the memo has gone out that President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Act that costs $3.5 trillion actually costs $0. Biden’s been pushing that line, and now it’s time to see who else wants to put their credibility on the line. Californian Rep. Jared Huffman decided to grant us a fact-check Tuesday explaining that the Build Back Better Act costs nothing, and it’s going to be paid for by billionaires.

The press could do a better job selling it.

Some group of highly paid aides sat around a conference table and came up with this “it costs $0” line and it got approved by this administration. That’s how dumb they think you are.
