As Twitchy reported earlier, even after she laughed out loud when asked if she’d be visiting the southern border to assess the border “challenge” facing the Biden-Harris administration, President Biden named Vice President Kamala Harris his point person to lead efforts to stem migration across the US-Mexico border.
The Heritage Foundation’s John Cooper has put together a thread of Harris’s recent comments about the border, and it’s a doozy.
THREAD: VP @KamalaHarris was just named the point person to lead the Biden administration's response to the border crisis it has created.
Let's take a walk down memory lane and look at some of her recent statements about the border, kids in cages, and more!

These are just some of the things Vice Pres. Harris has said about the border. Some are extreme positions, like bragging about making her state a sanctuary state.
Others show her political opportunism.
She is unfit to be handling any response to this border crisis.

Thank you, Mr. Cooper. Enlightening thread.

Like when you put the words "In bed" at the end of a fortune cookie, put a maniacal cackle at the end of each of her statements
— Rick Boyd (@realrickboyd) March 24, 2021
She’s one of the least likable people in politics and that’s saying a lot
— Pop Copy (@urbanmeyerlives) March 24, 2021
Don't forget that she just laughed when asked if she was going to the border. But sure, she will take this super serious. #refreshing

KH's MO is to provide lip service in promotion of her political goals. The problem is that that lip service results in explosive events that she hasn't completely thought through. She'll just swallow the (non)shame and give more lip service to meet the newly emerging need.

Does this mean that Joe won't need to answer any questions from the press? It'll be handed off to Kamala.

Jesus, the hypocrisy. Kamala has no principles.
— Fran Power (@FPower1) March 24, 2021
I’m sorry, I can’t watch all of this, she makes me sick. What a hypocrite and a phony.
— Kelly (@KellyGolightly1) March 24, 2021
She’s got a big job ahead of her, fixing the mess the Trump administration left her.
