The New Republic reveals that the comedy industry has a serious alt-right problem

The author of this piece for The New Republic, Seth Simons, has locked down his Twitter account, but we can still see that he writes a newsletter about labor, inequality, and extremism in the comedy industry. “I’ve spent the last five years writing about the comedy industry, the last three or so covering inequality and extremism within it,” he shares. We thought that the comedy industry’s biggest problem was that no one’s funny anymore, but it turns out the big problem is that the “safe space” allowed comedians has allowed the alt-right to use comedy as a recruiting tool.

It’s a very long piece, but to summarize, a guy who goes by ToxicCisWhiteMaleFat is bad, as are Gavin McInnes, Anthony Cumia, and the Legion of Skanks.
