Does Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey really mean it, or is he becoming aware of just how close Congress and the president are to cracking down on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook? On Wednesday evening, after a day which saw links to the New York Post’s Hunter Biden story lead to a warning page and the White House press secretary locked out of her account for posting a news story, Dorsey admitted Twitter’s handling of the story was “not great.”
Our communication around our actions on the @nypost article was not great. And blocking URL sharing via tweet or DM with zero context as to why we’re blocking: unacceptable. https://t.co/v55vDVVlgt

There is no evidence that the emails were obtained via "hacking." Please revise.

Do you shadowban based on political beliefs? Simple yes or no will do…

We all know the answer to that question.

Has it occurred to you that hiring a bunch of lying progs and giving them censor power is a shit business model?
— 100 Proof ? (@ChampionCapua) October 15, 2020
You all may want to review The Streisand Effect. All you ever accomplish by censoring or suppressing is to make sure the distribution is wider. Just let people engage with the content they are interested in. We are adults, not children.

You made the New York Post story on Hunter Biden even more popular–congratulations on Twitter's declared war on an NYC tabloid. https://t.co/yxfW4p6F4j

YOU SHOULD NOT BE INTERFERING IN ELECTIONS ON BEHALF OF YOUR PREFERRED CANDIDATE PERIOD.

It’s not the communication. ITS THE DOUBLE STANDARD BUT YOU KNOW THAT ALREADY

Apply your stupid policies equally.

This is clearly election interference. Were your foreign investors involved in this decision?

It's still bad.
You guys are trying to rig an election by feeding whatever you can on one candidate and squashing anything critical of the other.

This reminds me of when you suspended a whole bunch of accounts last month and then just said “Whoops, my bad.” and got away with it.

You have a heaping plate full of issues @jack. We were already pissed off…..

It was that low level Twitter employee at it again! They will be thrown in their safe space and think about what they have done, but super hard this time.
