As Twitchy reported earlier, a Facebook employee who just happened to work previously for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Sen. Barbara Boxer, and presidential candidate John Kerry announced that he would not be linking to the New York Post’s piece on Hunter Biden’s recovered emails, in part because the story hadn’t yet been fact-checked by Facebook’s third-party fact-checking partners. Furthermore, Facebook would be “reducing its distribution.”
Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr noted what a lot of us did — this seemed to be the first time Facebook decided it had to fact-check an article before allowing it to be distributed on its platform.
Zuckerberg: “I don’t think that Facebook or internet platforms in general should be arbiters of truth”
Facebook: We’re censoring a news story as “misinformation” *before* any “third-party fact checking.” https://t.co/ythskziNcp

A platform for all ideas.
No, not that idea or that or that or that…

Burn it all down!!!

Please take action somehow before Election Day. Their interference could flip the result by suppressing truth.

When did social media have the obligation to arbitrate the facts? You can’t reduce distributions if you can’t verify it’s false information. @ Facebook. oh I almost forgot Facebook is working for CCP

They're both engaging in CCP tactics with this censorship. It's blatant. We are no longer free.

We just misunderstood what he was trying to say. They aren't Arbiters of Truth, they are the Ministry of Truth and tell you what's true.#Orwellian

Are they platforms or publishers?

Something has to be done Mr. Carr, not sure at what level – Section 230 etc. – we're going to lose our country at this rate.

So what are you going to do about it. They obviously do not fear any repercussions.

I expect more from you than a tweet in response
