If nothing else, this nearly two-year-old tweet is a sad reminder that CNN’s Brian Stelter has been obsessed with Fox News for a very long time. In January 2018, for example, he was deeply concerned that the folks at “Fox & Friends” were telling the president that the Steele dossier was “made up.”
And even that tweet came a year after BuzzFeed took the bait that had been shopped around to the media and published the 35-page dossier of unsubstantiated dirt like the infamous “pee pee tape” that Tom Arnold’s still searching for. She’s since deleted her tweet, but it was just this week that news editor Michelle Jones treated us all to a “fact-check”: “Buzzfeed reporters published the Steele dossier, which has proven to be truthful and factual.”
Anyway, here’s Stelter scratching his chin dubiously at the claim the dossier was made up.
Our daily reminder that "Fox and Friends" has a serious responsibility. And yet… this morning Fox told the prez that the dossier was "made up" ? https://t.co/AS9AzzM69G

It was. It’s not only unverified but unverifiable. It was partially written by Ham-Radio aficionado Nellie Ohr.

Yes and they used a foreign intel hatchet man to try a coup against the US.

My gosh CNN is horrible. The network not only lied to their audience for years, they smeared anyone who dared to tell the truth.

The truth hurts, doesn't it, Brian?

Hi, I'm Mr. Potato Head. My network gets beaten regularly by Sponge Bob and Naked and Afraid.
I'm jealous of Fox but watch it constantly because our shows have Trump Haters who are so full of godless vitriol that we can't speak to the great things this amazing President has done— World View (@realconsrv1) December 13, 2019
Make sure you take some Pepcid after you read this again.

@brianstelter has a serious responsibility in his position at @CNN and talking head to captive audiences in airports across the continent — yet he takes seriously a long discredited @DNC oppo research diatribe full of spurious and calumnious allegations against a public figure.

I think a “Hey! Great job, Fox and Friends!!” is in order…

Maybe if CNN aired most of the IG hearings, you’d be better informed.
