The bombshell dropped by Project Veritas in the form of that hot-mic clip of ABC anchor Amy Robach complaining that the network had buried her Jeffrey Epstein story just keeps getting worse; it seems a former ABC employee who didn’t even leak the tape was fired by CBS after the two networks coordinated somehow.
Twitchy already covered earlier in the week CNN media guy Brian Stelter’s apparent disinterest in the huge story, and now the New York Post’s Karol Markowicz is astonished at how it’s finally being covered in the nightly “Reliable Sources” newsletter.
Stelter's newsletter last night. Whistleblower outed & fired from their new media job because of what they did at their last job and this is all Brian has got. He does spend time on how jealous Trump will be of Bloomberg's wealth in his, checks notes, media reporting newsletter. pic.twitter.com/5fUdogxC13

.@brianstelter DMs me that he's a correspondent not a critic and his newsletter's purpose is to report on, not criticize, the media. Stay tuned for massive correction on my tweet.

Prepare yourself for the massive correction:

I said to Brian that it's a distinction without a difference but it's important to him that I get his title correct so it's: Chief Media Correspondent and Anchor. He did not respond to anything else in my tweets.

Skip forward to the next newsletter:
From tonight's newsletter. Two giant media companies conspired to fire a leaker and possibly got it wrong but they've issued no comment so nothing to see her and no *media reporting* to be done. Did find time to cover some absurd Media Matters nonsense. pic.twitter.com/OkzzpP4JFs

Did find time for a Media Matters bs scandal. https://t.co/2hOf8nf4ir

“Despite what conservative media say, liberals are not trying to cancel Thanksgiving.” Good to get Media Matters’ take in there.
"Oh well, CBS declined to comment." – says the guy who pesters social media sites a thousand times a day. https://t.co/3vY7oonHDO pic.twitter.com/jxyNkwlkNz
— BT (@back_ttys) November 9, 2019
No one has asked Robach a single question, no one has asked any of the executives at ABC a single question. The only person who has actually talked to anyone involved is someone who hasn't worked for any media company for months now.
— BT (@back_ttys) November 9, 2019
Two days straight of nothing more than shrugging their shoulders and mumbling "CBS declined to comment". Clowns.

Why is it covering for the MSM when they screw up is the only time @brianstelter takes “no comment” and basically drops a story? Oh sorry, he will also do it for a Democrat in trouble too.

"I tried my best! Time to move on to more misspelled Trump tweets." – @brianstelter, probably

First mistake was ever thinking that @brianstelter and @oliverdarcy were either honest or competent reporters.
— PeteInJerseyJr (@PeteSuspendo) November 9, 2019
I believe Brian's actual title is 'Chief Water Carrier and Executive Fluffer for Democrats and the Political Elite.'
Make sure you get it right.

Funniest and saddest thread I've ever read. Karol SOMEHOW keeps her patience through this thread and drops zero F bombs even though this entire situation is a complete F bomb. Props to you karol, I would have flown off the deep end on selters ass after the first newsletter.

I have been saying this for years: Stelter is a propagandist. Nothing more. Nothing less.
— Matt Bennett (@mattben10) November 8, 2019
There's no way he has a job just on merit. He must have some kind of blackmail on his boss. No one could possibly hire this toad willingly.
— Babs Jansen (@askforbabs) November 8, 2019
Is he really considered an Anchor when no one watches his show?
Or did he mean Boat Anchor?
— PeteInJerseyJr (@PeteSuspendo) November 8, 2019
It’s remarkable that he thinks you’re just going to roll over and be like you know what Stelter, you’re totally right, my bad.
— LB (@beyondreasdoubt) November 8, 2019
I'll call anyone what they want to be called. I don't see a difference here but fine. Rest of what I wrote stands anyway.
