We missed this one yesterday, but we didn’t miss much. We like pumping our own gas, so we’re not really convinced by the vomit emoji. Does the gas station attendant vomit every time he fills up your car in New Jersey? Because that sounds cruel.
Anyway, this is the official Twitter account of New Jersey:
imagine pumping your own g- ??imagine pumping your own ga- ??? nvm can’t even say it ???? ??

Imagine being free to pump your own gas if you want to.
Forcing people to pay for service sums up your state perfectly. https://t.co/6B0diyIDYV

I do it every god damn time.
Imagine having regulation in place that made it illegal for you to pump your own gas…
Delete your account, Delete your Government…hell, delete your state.

Imagine being an independent human that can sustain themselves ?

I have literally not met a single person in my entire life who has complained about having to pump their own gas.
— Near ???? (@NearPup) October 23, 2019
Pumped my own gas only yesterday, and it was quite nice.
— Julie (@juliefwilson) October 23, 2019
I’d rather pump my own gas than live in NJ any day. ??

I actually intentionally make sure I get gas in another state when I'm driving through, just so I can avoid NJ's full service stations.

I love pumping my own gas like a real American.

If it is such an odious task, why do you make someone do it as a profession?

I hereby terminate my residency with this state

y’all tax pumpkins. silence
— ??? ? (@BroccoliRobD) October 23, 2019
They only tax pumpkins you’re going to use as decoration; if you’re gonna eat the pumpkin, it’s tax-free. But what if you carve a pumpkin, bake the seeds, and then eat those? Do you itemize?
The only thing good about full serve gas in NJ is that I don’t have to get out of my car and smell that god awful Jersey smell.

P.S. We love our New Jersey readers even more than we love pumping our own gas.
