Neil deGrasse Tyson does his bit to siphon some American pride out of the Apollo 11 anniversary

If you’ve been following Twitchy this week you’ve seen all the hot takes on the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Then The Nation chimed in with the question, “Is spaceflight colonialism?” and wondered if Neil Armstrong’s “giant leap for mankind” helped perpetuate inequality on Earth and beyond.

Who wants another shot before the anniversary passes? How about you, Neil deGrasse Tyson?

What’s the giant bird supposed to represent? We know we’ve seen it before somewhere … on U.S. currency, maybe?
