We imagine Talia Lavin — the former fact-checker who slimed a veteran amputee working for ICE by misidentifying him as a Nazi by his tattoo — has some time to tweet this summer as her NYU Journalism class on “Reporting on the Far Right” was canceled because not enough students signed up.
As you might have read, journalist Andy Ngo was first hit with a milkshake and then later took some punches and had his camera gear stolen while covering an Antifa protest in Portland.
Ngo, who claims to be more of a liberal than a conservative, is still seen as a tool of the “far-right” because he tries to capture Antifa on video. By the way, the police in Portland are also seen as far-right, because they keep the brave warriors of Antifa from punching Nazis as is their right.
It wouldn’t be long before a bleeding Ngo was waiting for an ambulance, but Lavin thought to make like of the fact that he was “milkshaked.”
She’s since deleted the tweet, but we thought we’d better get a screenshot to show those couple of students what kind of lessons they’re missing out on since her “Reporting on the Far Right” class got scrapped.

I'm glad you can make light of an attack on an Asian American journalist. Who was hit several times, has a few lacerations, and is currently in the hospital, but yeah it was "bird poo." I hate my generation.

Not sure I get the joke about a gay Vietnamese American journalist being beaten by a mob, but hey you do you.
— American Momma (@American_Momma) June 29, 2019
Actually, they beat him up, but sure..

No snarky comment about the literal attack? Or does violence against journalists not matter?

I was waiting for the worst person on Twitter to chime in

Guess you didn't see the aftermath of all the shit they did to him https://t.co/WchpolE5O6

Maybe she did. We’re not ready to assume she’d care, other than cheering it on.
I assume you’ve seen the whole video where he’s attacked & is taken to the hospital? Or would you like us to question what he was wearing to provoke the attack? Hypocrite.

This is why youre trash and why you couldn't even get students at a progressive school to take your shitty class.

Hey, can I sign up for your cla….
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Right. Bye sweatie. ???

If you're going to make a callous empty joke it needs to be funny. But practice makes perfect
— boiling whispers (@Thewordswemouth) June 29, 2019
The crushing irony in her getting a class called “reporting on the far right” yet here is far left overt violence, and she makes a funny.

Update:
Hey, look, another deleted tweet by another of MMFA’s finest, making a joke out of Ngo being hit with milkshakes before he was beaten and hospitalized:

Update:
Now police are saying that some of the “milkshakes” thrown at people today were actually quick-drying cement, and that police were hit as well.
Police have received information that some of the milkshakes thrown today during the demonstration contained quick-drying cement. We are encouraging anyone hit with a substance today to report it to police.

Update:
It looks like we were correct not to assume Lavin deleted her tweet out of concern for Ngo; she just didn’t need the irritation.
Then deletes and says she’s “not gonna comment” pic.twitter.com/prfonV8ZRs

Here’s another blue-check wonder who deleted his tweet:
Hay @letsgomathias you fucking POS you deleted this. pic.twitter.com/wWI5UbnnK9

This HuffPost writer @letsgomathias deleted this tweet celebrating Antifa’s “milkshaking” of a journalist.
The milkshakes were lined with quicklime/quick dry concrete mix and produce chemical burns, in addition to being heavy. pic.twitter.com/orQi1ikruv
