Vox features 'study' counting the number of animal deaths in celebrity cookbooks

You’ll notice we put quotation marks around “study” in the headline because the word has been rendered meaningless. And on the bright side, this study featured by Vox wasn’t funded by the government, like the $1.5 million they spent studying a mudskipper on a treadmill.

Apparently, someone went through a bunch of celebrity cookbooks and tallied how many animals had to die for each recipe. Maybe Paula Deen has redeemed herself?
