As Twitchy reported, Joe Biden officially launched his campaign for president at 6 a.m. with a video that focused heavily — and we mean heavily — on the white supremacist protest in Charlottesville that turned deadly when a crazed man drove his car into a street filled with counter-protesters, killing one woman.
Biden seemed to be focusing his entire effort to take down President Trump on the myth that he called neo-Nazi’s “very fine people,” but as Twitchy has reported, people like Scott Adams and Joel Pollak have been relentless in correcting the record and exposing the #CharlottesvilleHoax by putting Trump’s words back into context and posting the transcript.
Sad! @JoeBiden commences his presidential run with a scurrilous, totally disproven lie. Pres Trump did NOT call neo-Nazis or other racists “fine people.” In fact, he explicitly condemned them, here’s the proof & transcript:https://t.co/LNFIrCVu6p https://t.co/hxmJd7LoRN

For what it’s worth, fellow 2020 candidate Beto O’Rourke has also been repeating the lie, but only in passing.
Here’s Scott Adams today pushing back once again:
When a believer in the "fine people" hoax retreats to "But…but…there were no 'fine people' marching with neo-Nazis," tell them they hallucinated the "marching with" part and show them this NYT article https://t.co/V7TbSetKMx and this https://t.co/JH8165KMVd

For the benefit of the press, I will include in this thread the many links debunking Biden's announcement gaffe-of-the-century about the "fine people" hoax. Starting with the transcript. Make sure you read the bottom part. #Biden2020 #FinePeopleHoax pic.twitter.com/3z8OJt3e8U

If you don't believe the transcript, here's the video of the "fine people" press event in which Trump "condemned totally" the racists in Charlottesville: https://t.co/ArRY9YZMuW

“You had many other people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay?” That’s who he was talking about — people on either side of the controversy over whether Confederate monuments and statues needed to be taken down.
In case you know believers in the #CharlottesvilleHoax who don’t read, you can direct them to this video by Carpe Donktum that corrects the lies in Biden’s launch video.
Basing your entire campaign on a LIE… Bold strategy Creepy Joe. #Biden2020 pic.twitter.com/9R7ny7MnJ0

Every person should see this video. Thank You, Doctor. This is no laughing matter.

The @POTUS needs to retweet this ??
— Winston Smith (@JoPauCor) April 25, 2019
Yes, he does … how long has that stupid “Saturday Night Live” skit about Sarah Palin been accepted as the real deal by people who should know better? Biden kicked off his campaign by doubling down on a lie that’s easily disproved with video … Trump needs to get it out there and shut this down now.
.@CNN can’t fact-check @JoeBiden for the #CharlottesvilleHoax, because they helped create it.
