U.N. Secretary-General Seems a Bit Concerned His 'Climate Finance' Is Drying Up

Here's another young activist we're not allowed to 'attack,' so just nod in agreement, OK?

As Twitchy told you earlier Wednesday, MSNBC analyst and TIME magazine contributor Elise Jordan stepped in to shame critics of Parkland activist David Hogg because he’s just “a rising college freshman.”

Funny — the media certainly didn’t treat him like a child when he was leading the March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C. and calling the NRA “pathetic f**kers that want to keep killing our children.” Sean Parnell reminded Jordan that he had 20 men Hogg’s age getting shot at and wounded every day in Afghanistan, and it was Hogg who made the choice to enter the public sphere as an activist.

So now we take you across the ocean to Great Britain, where Prime Minister Theresa May is catching heat for blowing off a photo-op with 16-year-old Greta Thunberg, the Swedish schoolgirl who masterminded the worldwide school strike for climate and has been nominated for the Nobel Prize. Thunberg did pose for a photo with anti-Semitic Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, though.

Word is out, though, that as Thunberg gains an even larger worldwide audience for her climate change activism, she’s being “attacked” online.

Remember, she is just sixteen years old — and can demand a photo-op with of all the party leaders in the U.K., address the European Parliament (where she reportedly “appeared to break down in tears”), and travel the world speaking on climate change, despite all of her diagnoses.

Yeah, we have to agree with Kurt Schlichter there. She’s only 16 and was nominated for the Nobel Prize for her climate activism, so she can and does speak for herself. Or does she?

She’s just like Hogg; he’s a nationally known activist most of the time but just a “rising college freshman” when he starts talking utter nonsense that isn’t about the approved topic of gun control.
