Exactly the actors you'd expect sign onto Alyssa Milano's threat to boycott Georgia over heartbeat bill

Eh, Georgia’s used to being boycotted by clowns like Alyssa Milano and Ron Perlman. Back in 2016, it was over a religious liberty bill called the Free Exercise Protection Act, intended to protect religious officials from, say, having to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies that violated their religious beliefs. Gov. Nathan Deal vetoed that one.

Then — and this is really pathetic — actors had a tantrum over Stacey Abrams losing the race for governor … the race she still refuses to concede. “If you choose to shoot movies and TV in Georgia, don’t bother to call me,” Perlman announced on social media.

Got that? Hollywood, Calif., decided it would stop shooting in Georgia — which it does for the huge tax breaks — if the voters in Georgia didn’t give it the governor that it wanted.

And now it’s abortion. As Twitchy reported last week, Milano was stirring up another Hollywood boycott of Georgia if the state passed a heartbeat bill, which would ban most abortions after six weeks from conception. Georgia has a Republican governor in Brian Kemp now and he’s not likely to veto it.

About 50 actors have signed onto a letter to Kemp written by Milano saying they can’t in good conscience work in Georgia if babies aren’t allowed to be aborted after a heartbeat is detected. We’re too lazy to list them, so we’ll just copy and paste the selection Deadline Hollywood offered: Amy Schumer, Amber Tamblyn, Alec Baldwin, Don Cheadle, Rosie O’Donnell, Patton Oswalt, Sarah Silverman, Essence Atkins, Uzo Aduba, Gabrielle Union, Christina Applegate, Ben Stiller, Sean Penn, David Cross, Mia Farrow, Colin Hanks, and Bradley Whitford.

Yeah, a lot of ideological diversity in that crowd — really surprised to see ________ on that list.

And they really, really love to interfere with other states’ elections and legislation — we thought election interference was wrong.

Yeah, Wil Wheaton’s on the letter too. Of course he is.

“Insatiable”? The fat-shaming Netflix series? What a loss that would be if she walked away and babies lives were saved.
