As Twitchy reported, 2020 hopeful Kamala Harris found herself in hot water with CODE PINK for previously appearing at AIPAC’s conference and urged not to attend in 2019. MoveOn’s membership also urged all 2020 candidates to keep their distance from AIPAC this year.
Harris didn’t go to the AIPAC conference this year, but she did let AIPAC come to her:
Great to meet today in my office with California AIPAC leaders to discuss the need for a strong U.S.-Israel alliance, the right of Israel to defend itself, and my commitment to combat anti-Semitism in our country and around the world. pic.twitter.com/83Yrrbw4Q8

Boycotts look fun. https://t.co/TskQ1OfMv7

Will Kamala Harris come to regret affirming the right of Israel to defend itself? Shaun King isn’t pleased.
As @AIPAC literally piles on Ilhan Omar and tears her down, then starts blasting AOC and others, Kamala Harris doubles down her support of them.
Disturbing. https://t.co/yzIloNBall
— Shaun King (@shaunking) March 25, 2019
Kamala Harris literally just signed the @MoveOn pledge not to attend the @AIPAC conference because of how problematic they are. And the conference has been even worse than we expected.
So they just came to her instead. https://t.co/yzIloNBall

Way to go! Sign a pledge not to attend AIPAC and what’dya know? They come to you.

We’re telling you now, this photo is going to haunt her campaign.
Far-right Israeli PM Netanyahu just formed an alliance with a literal fascist party, and is bombing people trapped in the Gaza concentration camp right now, but fake "progressive" Kamala Harris is meeting with AIPAC and praising the apartheid regimehttps://t.co/9UPGQdGvtx

The “right to defend” what exactly? A settler-colonial project systematically dispossessing, displacing, and attempting to erase Palestinian existence from their land.
