We honestly don’t even know what to write at this point, although it’s nice of the New York Times to acknowledge that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s staff really screwed up the rollout of her Green New Deal last week, what with all of those multiple doctored versions floating around and the wrong draft being posted to her own website.
And of course, Republicans pounced.

Seriously, they’re all just trolling us now.
YES, POUNCING! https://t.co/EJQmOnSKKo

I wish I could buy stock in the word “pounce.”
— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) February 12, 2019
Pounce def: Verb. Point out the stupidity on display for all to see.

I dunno, this really felt more like seizing.

Confession: When I saw this headline I wasn’t sure if it was a parody, so I had to search the NYT website to double check that @benshapiro wasn’t pulling our legs. Sure enough, it’s real. Beyond parody! https://t.co/8d13UKKwT7

Unbelievable that the @nytimes headline writers seem unaware at this late date of the "Republicans pounce" cliche. How about it, @palafo? (h/t @rkylesmith) https://t.co/gd8o7V1oX5

“Flubs” = said exactly what they meant but then realized people thought it was ridiculous.
— JCW (@wazcheber) February 12, 2019
She makes one little mistake about people not having to work and banning airplanes and printing money to pay for everybody in the world to be happy and the Republicans pounce all over her with their toxic masculinity.

It's so funny how they're always the victims of everything.
Make a hilariously bad proposal? Don't worry, if someone calls you out for your stupidity, you just blame them. They're "pouncing" on you. Pounce!

At least they're consistent.

So when she does something worth mentioning she’s lauded as a hero, but when she screws up it was “her team”. Must be nice to have so many fall guys on the staff.

And don’t even get us started on the story itself:
This opening graph makes a mess of the timeline. The FAQ was published 2 days before the resolution was published. The whole story omits that AOC's team didn't just publish the FAQ, they gave it to multiple news outlets as part of the rollout. pic.twitter.com/kS0VtlgD6J

Unreal. Fortunately for President Trump, most of the announced 2020 Democrat candidates pounced on the Green New Deal to co-sponsor it.
