After the initial spark of outrage Saturday when a clip circulated apparently showing a group of high school students harassing a tribal elder on the Lincoln Memorial steps, we’ve learned a lot. Additional footage cleared up (for most) the question of who approached whom, and now we’re learning that “Vietnam veteran” Nathan Phillips never actually served in Vietnam.
So of course your perspective on what happened Friday at the March for Life (and the Indigenous Peoples March) depends on how much footage you bothered to watch and, of course, your prejudices against kids wearing MAGA hats.
Actor Ron Perlman knows what he saw and he’s sticking to it, and he didn’t exactly care for Jake Tapper bringing it into question:
It looks like Perlman has since deleted the tweet, but because we’re heavily funded by the Russians, we were able to get a screenshot sent over from the Kremlin.

Even though there's legitimate footage of what actually happened, all you care about is a hat. Goes to show how dumb some of you celebrities are. #WalkAway https://t.co/AaMGdQLSlH
