As Twitchy reported, President Trump invited the NCAA national champion Clemson Tigers football team to the White House and offered them a classy table filled with fast food from McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King.
There was controversy, though; Trump had said he’d purchased over a thousand burgers stacked a mile high, but the fact-checking firefighters at the Washington Post did some calculations and discovered, at two inches a burger, a thousand burgers would not reach one mile high.
Hey, remember that time when reporters fact-checked President Obama jumping into “the Beast” and taking it to Five Guys? They didn’t have to, because every moment was caught on camera — almost as if the whole thing were a show for the cameras filming for a two-night special.
NBC News reported at the time:
For a health food nut, President Barack Obama sure likes his burgers.
Obama made a surprise lunchtime stop at Five Guys Burgers and Fries, a fast-food restaurant in Washington, D.C.
The president ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, jalapeño peppers, and mustard, and placed several other to go orders for his staff. He also ordered a cheeseburger for Brian Williams, the anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News. The network is filming a day-in-the-life program, “Inside the Obama White House: Brian Williams Reports,” a two-night special airing June 2 and 3, at 9 p.m. ET.
Aw, the president even bought lyin’ Brian Williams a cheeseburger.

Obama also went to Five Guys with Brian Williams, who had an immediate orgasm

To be completely honest, Five Guys is one of the best fast food burger joints in America. But yeah, the hypocrisy is clear.

The facts are that people will attack anyone they don’t like for whatever it is. If they like the person they find excuses to pardon everything. I don’t care what he fed them. He was being hospitable the best he thought should be done for a bunch of 18-21 year olds that loved it

yea, he paid himself so that there wasn't a criticism over taxpayer money being used at a time of Gov shutdown and then because he was thinking the young men usually love fast food, I think he really thought that was a fun idea and not insulting like everyone is making it to be.

It’s an amazing time…watching the media hypocrisy and TDS out in the open for everyone too see.
Only the oblivious disregard it.— truthseeker (@wedjim) January 15, 2019
If I didn’t know better I’d think you’re saying there’s a double standard! Shocking!

If you don't know Obama's was scripted and cleared by SS ahead of time, I've got some ocean front property on Mercury to sell you…

The celebrity worship of politicians is beyond gross. Ugh. Credit for hitting up 5 Guys though. Best fast food burger.

Not a peep in the whole 8 years of that regime

Remember when Obama spent $65,000 of taxpayer dollars on flying in hotdogs & pizza from Chicago for a private party at the White House ?
— Jo Michigan (@JPreibus) January 15, 2019
It's almost as if they "like" Obama but "dislike" Trump and view each's respective actions through the lens of their existing bias.
Who does that?

Here are those headlines in case they don’t both show up:
NBC News also noted that, “Despite their burger runs, the Obamas are big believers in exercise and healthy eating.”
