We’re old enough to remember when congressional Democrats just asserted that the GOP wanted to kill the sick and the elderly just for kicks — that was just the nature of Republicans … a desire to see a great swath of the population dead.
So it’s actually kind of a step up for Hillary superfan and Verrit.com co-founder Peter Daou to allege that it’s racism that’s driving the Republican effort to roll back Obamacare. You see, the GOP just can’t stand that a black president “gave” health care to the people. (Health insurance, health care … what’s the difference?)
Imagine being a political party whose burning mission is to take health care away from sick peoole because a black president gave it to them. #ACA #Obamacare

oh shit he's on to us https://t.co/hRdSgSp2fo

And we would have gotten away with it too …
Is that what happened there Pete, you don't mind if I call you Pete, do you? https://t.co/cwompdPSRm

And your evidence that racism, rather than ideology, is the general motivation of the @GOP on this matter?
— Nathan Holladay (@nbholladay) December 16, 2018
I think you are confusing care with insurance. Also you're a racist.
— Glidedon (@Glidedon) December 16, 2018
Imagine being so ignorant you equate Health Insurance with Health Care.
— Cpl. Punishment. (@Cpl_Pun1shment) December 16, 2018
Pete, imagine being so wrapped up in your ideological propaganda screed that you fail to recognize the difference between healthcare and health insurance. https://t.co/cwompdPSRm
— BayAreaFrau (@bayareahausfrau) December 15, 2018
Imagine being a political party that wrote a half-assed, piece of crap healthcare bill in secret that raised insurance premiums 35% and even then was unsustainable. https://t.co/fBdbOeQwMb

Imagine being the political party who thinks this way? https://t.co/Vk4RxKXHG7

Imagine being a political hack whose job it is to invent this kind of slander about people. https://t.co/DbiGld2Jav

Imagine being someone who thinks this is a rational argument. https://t.co/lZqSbm0dGB

Imagine possessing such a low-resolution way of thinking. Embarrassing. https://t.co/6cEy2PfBrF

Imagine being intellectually vacant enough to not only believe a narrative as stupid as this, but to do so publicly. https://t.co/KPu53soO4r

#Hi #ImMrMeseeks #LookAtMe Imagine supporting a bill where your only defense for it is that it was signed for by a black President
— Mr. Meseeks (@MrMeseeks02) December 16, 2018
Imagine trying to argue a position without a charge of racism instead of arguing the actual position
It's way easier isn't it? https://t.co/o4gCXtqAXJ

You ever notice that only people constantly hung up on the fact that our previous President was black are liberals? https://t.co/hl4bFB73K6
— Santa Hammy ✈ (@e2pilot) December 15, 2018
Obamacare literally jacked up the price of health insurance, making it so costly regular people can't afford care after paying their premiums… but this guy thinks this is about race. https://t.co/K35KyY0t4Y
— Matt Margolis ?? (@mattmargolis) December 15, 2018
The ACA was bad law. Simply expanding Medicaid was its only good part.
The ACA imposes the cost of caring for the sick (pre-existing cond) only on those buying healthcare outside employment. It imposes price controls that discriminate against the young. It raises payroll taxes. https://t.co/F5rt6794W2

Imagine being a political party whose burning mission is to make 5 million people lose their company sponsored health care because it was cheaper for companies to pay the penalty than to pay for employees insurance. And raise their taxes to pay for everyone else’s on top of that. https://t.co/ZBZkN0tYPT

Peter, how about you go on Obama care, see a doctor and then talk.

It is precisely this kind of rhetoric that continues to pull all of us apart. Be careful to use your words wisely.
— Laura Nelson (@laurajeannelson) December 16, 2018
Peter. Daou.
No one wants to take away healthcare from anyone. We can get rid of the ACA and people will still have healthcare.
— Travis (@johnT_D) December 16, 2018
imagine government interfering with healthcare and driving up the cost. government does best when it gets out of the way. the Constitution dictates that citizens cannot be compelled (individual mandate) to purchase by law. you are a disgrace and have no business discussing.
— Ryan ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (@austintxishome) December 16, 2018
See? It’s because Obama’s black. Read between the lines, people.
Hey, Peter: Did Obama personally pay for the health insurance for millions of sick people? Or did he use government force & coercion & make others to pay for his altruism?
— Rebecca Throckmorton (@Rebecca_Throck2) December 16, 2018
If Obama was white he would still be the same dumpster fire of failed president.
His skin color has nothing to do with it.
It’s the way that he views the world.
So stop being a racist turd.
— James Scheduled (@ScheduledJames) December 16, 2018
If O-Care was so good, why was it sold on the "if you like your plan, you can keep your plan" LIE?
— SNARK-enfreude (@Fritzz2009) December 16, 2018
Lie of the year … but you just don’t like being lied to by a black president ’cause you’re a racist.
