Bras? Gendered baby clothes? BBC invites women to grab an object of oppression and drag it to the trash

Here’s something fun if you have literally nothing else to do and are unfamiliar with the definition of fun. The BBC’s #100Women site has come up with an interactive doodad allowing women to drag objects of oppression (high heels, lipstick, bras) into a virtual garbage can. Cute.

The whole exercise is supposed to be a throwback to ’60s feminist protests, and the BBC is asking women what object of oppression they’d like to chuck into the garbage. “Religious clothing, gendered baby clothes and wage slips — representing the gender pay gap — have been popular additions,” the BBC reports.
