Was the Broward sheriff’s captain who gave order to ‘stage’ outside the school a diversity hire?

As Twitchy reported in June, Jan Jordan, the Broward sheriff’s captain who gave the order to “stage” outside Stoneman Douglas High School rather than enter and confront the gunman, was set to be replaced. According to reports, Coral Springs police officers were the first ones to enter the school to try to help save students while Broward deputies took positions behind their cars.

Then came news in November that Jordan had handed in her resignation to Sheriff Scott Israel, effective immediately.

Andrew Pollack, whose daughter Meadow was killed on Valentine’s Day, is now wondering if Jordan was hired to help fill the county’s mandate for diversity.
