You might have missed it, but Sen. Mitch McConnell wrote an op-ed Tuesday asking, “Will Democrats work with us, or simply put partisan politics ahead of the country.”
My latest Op-Ed: Will Dems work with us, or simply put partisan politics ahead of the country? https://t.co/X4IwYUedTE
— Leader McConnell (@senatemajldr) November 13, 2018
The answer is B, put partisan politics first. But it’s not just his party that has Democrats steamed with McConnell — they’re still furious with him for not allowing Judge Merrick Garland his proper place on the Supreme Court seat stolen by Neil Gorsuch.
Check out ThinkProgress’ justice editor, Ian Millhiser:

Some people deal with losing a loved one differently than others. What Ian needs to know is he has our thoughts and prayers in his time of grief and need. https://t.co/VaAAflBCl1

Merrick, if he were with us today, would want Democrats to work in bi-partisan fashion with the Republicans.

He was sweet. He was kind. A good man. He will be missed. Only hope Special K can carry the fire in his stead
