University Employee Who Told Trump Supporters to Kill Themselves Sent Packing

Dana Loesch thinks Brian Stelter's own network and not just Fox News might benefit from some 'soul searching'

Remember when CNN was just a curiosity you used to see when you were stuck at the airport? It was kind of cool to have round-the-clock news coverage.

But now it seems like every time we check in with someone from CNN, they’re criticizing Fox News, which sits comfortably at the top of the cable TV ratings. We know that CNN’s Oliver Darcy and Brian Stelter do plenty of monitoring of the competition because they just can’t shut up about what Fox News is doing.

Jumping on the narrative that President Trump should take responsibility for the mail bomber and the Tree of Life shooter, Stelter again pointed the finger at Fox News, blaming the network for dividing the country.

Ken Meyer reports for Mediaite:

As Stelter talked to Alisyn Camerota and John Berman on how Trump continues to attack his enemies in order to deflect from his political vulnerability, he ended up talking about how often the president parrots the talking points of his favorite Fox News hosts.

“I sure hope some of those fox hosts, some of those commentators take a moment, take a minute to think about their role in this environment,” Stelter said. “Hopefully there is some soul searching right now in the wake of [the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting].”

Why can’t Fox News be more like CNN, and bring on guests who accuse President Trump of radicalizing more people than ISIS? You know, responsible, unbiased journalism.

Dana Loesch reminded Stelter of the two-minutes hate his network held just one week after the mass shooting in Parkland, Fla.
