Washington Post reporter does the 'Republicans pounce' angle on the out-of-control Kavanaugh mob

We were waiting for someone to do a “Republicans pounce” story on the angry mob that formed around the Supreme Court as Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in Saturday.

It looks like the job went to the Washington Post’s Matt Viser, who says in his Twitter bio that he’s a political reporter, not an opinion columnist.

Ah, Republicans are pointing out the Democrat protesters’ perfectly understandable reaction to Kavanaugh’s confirmation to shift focus away from an unpopular president — not that they were supporting the Supreme Court nominee they thought had been unjustly smeared.
