Someone tell Jennifer Rubin that Yahoo News deleted that tweet taking Lindsey Graham out of context

As Twitchy reported, Yahoo News posted a very deceptive tweet Wednesday that took words from James Carville’s mouth and put them in Sen. Lindsey Graham’s, claiming that Graham said, “This is what you get when you go through a trailer park with a $100 bill.”

Yes, Graham did say those words, but he was quoting Carville to compare the treatment of the women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct to the treatment afforded Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

Yahoo heard about it and eventually took the tweet down.

Yeah, too bad everyone and his uncle has already retweeted the original all over the Internet.

As Twitchy also reported, people were wondering how long it would take the Washington Post’s “conservative blogger” Jennifer Rubin to weigh in:

Rubin came through, in response to a tweet from CNN’s Jake Tapper in which he literally explained that Graham was “paraphrasing a loathsome comment made by James Carville about Paula Jones.” That didn’t seem to resonate with Rubin, though. And yes, her tweet is still up, just as predicted.

Wonder how long that’ll stay up? At least Yahoo News bothered to delete the misleading tweet and issue a correction.
