The Washington Post’s Robert Costa tweeted Tuesday morning that Republican Sen. John Cornyn had raised some sharp questions about Christine Blasey Ford’s account of what happened between her and Brett Kavanaugh back in high school.
NEWS: Top Senate Republican raises sharp questions about the account of Judge Kavanaugh's accuser.
“The problem is, Dr. Ford can’t remember when it was, where it was, or how it came to be,” Sen. John Cornyn (Texas) says. “There are some gaps there that need to be filled.”

Sharp questions? Funny how the bias always manages to seep in. Let Katie Pavlich be blunt:
With all due respect, asking who, what, where, when, why and how aren’t “sharp” questions, they’re basic questions. https://t.co/ntAhzD6ZSE

Like, the kind that a journalist should be asking.
— Can of Spam (@iDoLikeSpam) September 18, 2018
Basic as it gets.

We guess the questions are considered “sharp” in the sense that Kavanaugh’s accuser might not want to touch them.

Putting it bluntly there.

Those are the absolute basic questions that kick off a report or an investigation. If you can’t get that right, you lose all credibility.

Basic questions that anyone who seeks the truth. They don’t apply to some ideological plant. People like @costareports & the rest @nbcnews have no idea what the Journalists Creed is.

Most journalists don't remember thise basic questions anymore. They prefer "journalism" to "reporting" You're good, Katie ??

Katie, it's Journo 101, that's where it gets em every time ….

I'm not even a journalist and I knew that from grade school.
— Carpetfrog (@Carpetfrawg) September 18, 2018
I used to be a police officer, those questions are routine at the lowest level!
— Mark E Nichols (@MarkENichols3) September 18, 2018
Maybe that’s why the FBI took Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s letter and slipped it into Kavanaugh’s background file rather than open an investigation.
Isn’t the whole point of the Senate Supreme Court nomination process to ask “sharp” questions? Yes is the answer- if #Kavanaugh can answer “sharp” questions then so can his or any accuser. That’s called equality non-bias

Sen Cornyn is citing @costareports own newspaper. “Ford told The Post she did not recall exactly who owned the house, how she came to be at the house, or how the gathering was arranged.” I guess he doesn’t read the crap WAPO either.
— Paul Robbins (@probbmd) September 18, 2018
Asking questions is the problem. They want blind acceptance and irate indignation.
— Mike ?? (@mjobrien13) September 18, 2018
Republicans pounce with sharp questions, blunt objections, and other misogynist attacks against #MeToo victim.
— Adso of Melk (@PalimpsestMan) September 18, 2018
All part of the narrative build that the reason Ford won't testify is because the idea thay her accusation he subjected to scrutiny is cruel, unjust, misogynistic, patriarchal, etc.
— Dan (@LawoftheGator) September 18, 2018
To Costa – they are sharp

And this is the problem with the whole movement. you cant ask simple questions. All women must be believed about anything at anytime, period. What a joke.
