Funny … when we saw that Politico had named “the Parkland teens” to its fifth annual #Poltico50 list of people who have transformed politics this year, we clicked on over to see what they had to say about Parkland teen and activist Kyle Kashuv, who met with several senators as well as the president and first lady in the Oval Office to show off his “ReachOut” app, which would allow students to provide each other with emotional support and help them recognize and report warning signs.
Let’s just say Kashuv made the most of his time in Washington, D.C.:
Today was amazing. Getting to speak with @realDonaldTrump, @FLOTUS, @SenTedCruz, @senorrinhatch, @marcorubio @SpeakerRyan, @replouiegohmert, @KellyannePolls and showing them my app @TheReachOutApp was surreal. Thank you @Michaelgr1011 for setting this up! Love u, @KellyannePolls

Imagine our shock, then, when we didn’t see Kashuv mentioned anywhere.
Instead, the focus was on the “real” Parkland teens — the small group of anti-NRA activists that had already been featured on the cover of TIME. Of course, much of the focus was on David Hogg, most recently seen encouraging an audience of Canadians to contribute to American political campaigns, which is of course against the law.
2. The Parkland teens: For not letting the country just move on
With raw and ferocious energy, the students created nonstop social media counterattack on the politicians they believed had left them exposed to mortal danger for the sake of NRA donations https://t.co/rKVo2bHhf8 pic.twitter.com/ZmQnwh3XIc
— POLITICO (@politico) September 11, 2018
Hogg went so far as to call the NRA “pathetic f**kers that want to keep killing our children” and asserting that the NRA “could have blood from children spattered all over their faces, and they wouldn’t take action, ’cause they all still see those dollar signs.”
You know who could have taken action? The armed school resource officer who was assigned to the school and hid in a stairwell while the massacre unfolded.

Even though it was the school board, the local police and the FBI that were responsible for letting that happen. These kids are badly misguided into thinking laws for guns will solve the problem.

Right. Not the ACTUAL politicians who left them exposed. Only the ones they could get rich off of attacking. https://t.co/aUJixj7ER8

Hey, CNN — we’re still waiting for that follow-up town hall with Sheriff Scott Israel knowing all that we know about the police response to the shooting.
The Parkland kids have done a great job creating division and spreading easily debunked propaganda. They have also helped the NRA's membership numbers. Other than that, they've basically ran mobile a voter registration campaign signing people up to vote whether eligible or not.

Numerous failures by law enforcement such as not getting perp off the streets to not doing their job of taking him out during shooting
Broward county schools failed, bigly
Not all Parkland teens support the attacks on #2A and those that do are well funded by Soros, Bloomberg

This is the laziest most loaded way you could possibly describe corporate backed teenagers. As if I need money from the NRA to be pro-gun, or that the only reason to be pro-gun is 100k an election cycle. Pathetic https://t.co/HVt2woQAcg

And so are the NRA’s membership numbers, reportedly.
What’s the chance that pro-Second Amendment Parkland survivors like Kashuv will ever be considered “legitimate” voices in the school safety conversation?
