Resistance warrior Alyssa Milano has gone so far as to dress up like Strawberry Shortcake to keep Brett Kavanaugh from being confirmed to the Supreme Court, so it’s no wonder that not only would she swallow Wednesday’s anonymous New York Times op-ed hook, line, and sinker, but also tie it to the Kavanaugh hearing.
Donald Trump’s own cabinet considered invoking the 25TH AMENDMENT TO REMOVE HIM from office and yet we are allowing him and the Republican’s who support him to choose a Supreme Court Justice who believes he can pardon himself?!?!
What country is this?
— Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) September 5, 2018
Well, if it’s the country that has a 25th Amendment, it’s probably America, where the president nominates Supreme Court justices and citizens can be as hysterical as they want on social media and still score acting gigs on internet-only fat-shaming shows. And apparently, it’s also the country where the nation’s biggest newspaper will publish an anonymous opinion piece as long as it’s critical of Trump.
I don't know what country you just described. Your mention of things like the 25th Amendment and Supreme Court sound like America, but the rest was gibberish.
Can we get another hint? https://t.co/kfAEzE3b09

I’ve got a large wager that you haven’t a clue what the 25th Amendment entails.

Ah, the ramblings of an ignorant, wannabe Constitutional scholar invoking the 25th Amendment. Please enlighten us with your vast knowledge on the subject….outside of the Woodward book & mass hysteria from @CNN and @MSNBC. Your stupidity is only outdone by your madness. #MAGA

You haven't even gotten to the 2nd Amendment.
— Ajax (@Iowan4rights) September 5, 2018
It's a country where, like it or not, Donald Trump is STILL the POTUS and he therefore has every LEGAL right under the Constitution to pick a Supreme Court Justice (though he DOESN'T have a "legal" right under the Constitution to "pardon" himself if he gets impeached). https://t.co/OFQzvgsWrh

Some deep state holdover in the WH wrote an anonymous op-ed in the NY Times (as opposed to an actual news outlet) and Dems seriously think that should affect the operation of gov't?
Nope. This is America, Sam from Who's the Boss. https://t.co/qn6eMj6zz1

So because some yahoos want to subvert a lawful election, you think that's ok?
Got it. https://t.co/0lSHypRRsv

A country of laws, where we don't decide who gets to be President by who throws the biggest hissy-fit. https://t.co/n7ZjLEM5tJ

the country where @realDonaldTrump won the election and you delusional folks can't accept it. #USA #MAGA

It’s a Republic, thank you very much. We voted and he won. The liberal left loonies like yourself, and some Never Trumper neocons should just enjoy your low unemployment numbers & huge gains in the stock market like the rest of us. You’re welcome.
