“Sex and the City” star and New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon, who is running well to the left of an already liberal incumbent, Andrew Cuomo, is taking it as a badge of honor that Vice President Mike Pence takes issue with her calling ICE a terrorist organization.
If @mike_pence is attacking me, we must be doing something right. What’s really "appalling" is how ICE tears children away from their parents. Parents who came to this country, fleeing deadly violence, to provide a brighter future for their families.

Some of them, certainly, but not all. The mother of the crying toddler immortalized on the cover of TIME admitted she came from Honduras looking for a job, not to flee violence, but whatever. Oh, and the mother and her child were never separated. And she paid a smuggler to sneak them across the border illegally.
Parents who have lived here for decades, paying taxes, building small businesses. Parents whose children are legal U.S. citizens. Parents who have no criminal record. ICE's mere existence causes many New Yorkers to live in daily fear that they will lose their family.

1. ICE needs to verify who the children are with. Many times the adults are coyotes, child sex traffickers or MS13.
They are separated for the children’s safety.
2. It’s only those who are illegally coming in, not those entering through legal entry Portals.

Cynthia, the law enforcement on the border is called Customs and Border Patrol. ICE works inside the US to stop guns, drugs, and sex trafficking of children. But you just keep on talking about stuff you know nothing about.
