As Twitchy told you earlier, the NRA’s Dana Loesch had a dust-up on Twitter Tuesday night with Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo, who repeatedly threatened legal action after Loesch called him out in a segment on NRA TV.
In her segment, Loesch nailed Acevedo for his support of sanctuary city laws but his apparent lack of interest in protecting the Second Amendment rights of American citizens. After the Santa Fe High School shooting, Acevedo posted to Facebook, “I know some have strong feelings about gun rights, but I want you to know I’ve hit rock bottom and I am not interested in your views as it pertains to this issue. Please do not post anything about guns aren’t the problem and there’s little we can do.”
“Be on notice that we’ll be watching,” he tweeted to Loesch Tuesday after turning down an invitation to appear on her show.

It was only Wednesday that Loesch wondered out loud just who the chief meant by “we” in that tweet. Acevedo and his lawyer? The Houston Police Department, maybe?
