We had to check to see if this was a parody account, but we’ve covered actor and corporate pitchman Matt Walton before, when he explained it was just “lighthearted meta humor” gone awry that led him to ask Parkland school shooting survivor Kyle Kashuv “the last time someone shot at you or your friends.”
Now this following take of Walton’s isn’t necessarily new or unique — we saw plenty of like-minded comments in the thread about pulling kids out of school until gun laws change — but it’s nice to see it laid out so clearly.
You know what benefits from school shootings?
The home school movement.
You know what benefits from the home school movement?
Ignorance.
You know what benefits from ignorance?#Republicanism.
You know what benefits from Republicanism?
The #NRA.
See it now?

See what now? Let’s back up to the bit about homeschooling breeding ignorance before we get ahead of ourselves.

So, the Republicans are making Leftists shoot up schools so they can homeschool?

Homeschooled kids score above the national average on testing.
Homeschooled kids have parents that take responsibility for them.
Homeschooled kids aren't the ones shooting up public schools. https://t.co/UUWJGoPjRQ

What he’s not realizing is ignorance only benefits from home schooling because of opponents to it, like himself. That are ignorant about the reality of homeschooling.
But what do I know. I only was homeschooled and will homeschool. https://t.co/0PFr7XTVtz
