He's running: Bernie Sanders leaves no ambiguity in his condemnation of neo-Nazis … but antifa?

Here’s something that didn’t make many ripples in the headlines a week ago, not that it would matter — people who are now convinced that President Trump is a white supremacist aren’t going to let their minds be changed by the signing of a joint resolution rejecting “White nationalism, White supremacy, and neo-Nazism as hateful expressions of intolerance that are contradictory to the values that define the people of the United States.”

Bernie Sanders, who’s being a bit coy about 2020, issued a “what prompted that?” tweet Thursday about white supremacists and how it’s important not to be ambiguous when condemning them.

No, the #BernieFP doesn’t stand for “for president,” but rather “foreign policy,” the topic of his speech Thursday. Also, no, no one’s being ambiguous about neo-Nazis, though some patriots are fighting efforts to pare back free speech protections in an effort not to offend or hurt “marginalized” communities while leaving open the option to punch someone on the street for wearing a swastika.

Still, though, now that facts (in the form of flying rocks and bricks and urine bombs lobbed at police) seem to have cleared up the notion that today’s antifa is not the modern-day equivalent of Allied forces fighting the Nazis in World War II.

Hey, Bernie, would you like to be a little less ambiguous how you feel about armed anarcho-communists dressing up like Batman and agitating in the streets wherever conflict arises with cops?

Remember that time Hillary Clinton unambiguously condemned former Klansman Robert Byrd by calling him her “friend and mentor”?
