Hero: At Women's March, Madonna confesses she chose love over blowing up the White House

Does “Love Trumps Hate” still apply in 2017? The Women’s March on Washington is well underway and has provided an interesting mix of speakers. The march organizers, who spoke of oppression, slavery, and Palestinian occupation, shared stage with rich, white, oppressed celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Ashley Judd, Katy Perry, Amy Schumer, and Madonna, who keeps managing to work the word “blowing” into every public appearance.

This time around, Madonna was referring to another kind of blowing:

So, we’re not getting the vapors over violent rhetoric anymore? Or is that still a thing?

She’s thought a lot about blowing up the White House … who hasn’t really … but Madonna chose love. And so the White House still stands today, thanks to her mercy.

Would any pundits who have been tweeting, “This is not normal” every day for the past several months like to weigh in on this? Is it normal to take the stage on the National Mall and talk about how much you’ve thought about blowing up the White House?

It’s a shame that only children in the audience were able to hear the conclusion of Madonna’s declaration of a “revolution of love,” as broadcasters started dropping the live feed — obviously under the orders of the Trump administration, as directed by the Russians.
