Yes, presidential debates aren’t like they used to be. Any time a candidate is backed into a corner or troubled by facts, he or she can just say, “Check my website.”
Recent document dumps have suggested that Hillary Clinton herself isn’t computer literate, and for her fellow Luddites she threw out a mention during Monday night’s debate of her book — no, not “It Takes a Village,” but “Stronger Together,” co-authored with running mate Tim Kaine.
Was Clinton waiting for a chance to plug her book? It famously sold fewer than 3,000 copies in its first week on the shelves, and she’d probably like to free up some space in the several garages in Chappaqua now stuffed to the rafters with cardboard boxes full of unsold copies.
Hillary is the first one to plug a book! #debatenight

Hillary but I wrote a book about my policy. Unfortunately or fortunately no one has read it.

Hey Hillary, why do we need to buy a book to find out how you're going to fix the economy and federal deficit?

Hillary plugs her book – which flopped btw – instead of explaining her economic policy. Kind of ironic ?#debates #debatenight #NeverHillary pic.twitter.com/Kd0rYS9uV1
