Save the date: Court orders State Dept. to produce documents from latest email find by Sept. 13

Judicial Watch continues to be the little train that could, chugging along and uncovering again and again “lost” emails well after the FBI’s director gave Hillary Clinton a pass on her extreme carelessness with classified materials, seeing as she never intended to jeopardize national security.

That was supposed to be the end of the whole email mess, but unfortunately for Clinton, it wasn’t. She might have skated past a federal indictment by the Department of Justice, but Judicial Watch’s FOIA lawsuits continue to dog the Democratic presidential candidate.

On Thursday afternoon, Judicial Watch announced that a federal judge ordered the State Department to produce emails from the recent batch of 14,900 newly uncovered emails, as well as any other communications recently delivered to State by the FBI:

The State Department shall search the material, determine whether any responsive records exist, and complete its first production of non-exempt records, to the extent any exist, by September 13, 2016.

The State Department admitted that it had found Benghazi-related documents among the 14,900 Clinton emails uncovered by the FBI.
