America learned yesterday that not only was President Obama going to travel to Charlotte, N.C., to campaign with his former campaign rival Hillary Clinton, but that he’d be giving her a lift on Air Force One.
Not only did Clinton have the opportunity to be photographed exiting the presidential airplane with the current president; Obama brought along his official lectern emblazoned with the presidential seal, so that Clinton could address the crowd with the words “President of the United States” appearing directly beneath her — so much for those who thought nothing was beneath Hillary Clinton.
How about that advance work of getting that presidential seal on the lectern in front of Hillary Clinton.

It beats standing in front of a wall made of garbage, that’s for sure.
Optics of today's speech are definitely interesting: Clinton speaking behind a lectern with the Presidential seal.

And @HillaryClinton gets to speak at the lectern with the presidential seal. pic.twitter.com/X8EJTiYDNz

A photo worth a thousand TV ads: HRC standing behind the presidential podium Obama brought with him to North Carolina

Imagery, folks, imagery. She's standing in front of a podium with the presidential seal on it… It's called subliminal imagery…

Advantage to have Presidential Seal on lectern as a candidate. @HillaryClinton pic.twitter.com/rGFsLgJR2C

In the past, WH has said the presidential seal isn't displayed at campaign events. Nothing looks more presidential. pic.twitter.com/GH78IN7hyg

In the past, huh? Well, there are a lot of things that the honest American citizen is going to have to accept are now in the past.
Staging note: when @POTUS has campaigned for others, the presidential seal has often, but not always, been left off lectern

Campaigning for re-election in 2012, Pres Obama didn't use the presidential seal at most events. pic.twitter.com/w3xDisTolT

I want to vomit watching @HillaryClinton right now. Pretty cocky to speak with the Presidential seal. God help us ??????

We might have already used the word “shameless” today in a headline, so we’ll just leave this here.
On the day that Hillary is officially certified as careless and negligent, she gets to share the Presidential Seal with Obama. Shameless.
