So much for judging a book by its cover. The Boston Globe has released an image of Thursday’s front page, featuring a scary AR-15 (actual size, even), the words “Make It Stop,” and a bullet hole rendered to scale — which should be of no interest to anyone who’s ever fired a gun or brought home a paper target from the shooting range.
Maybe Sen. Elizabeth Warren received an advance copy of the accompanying editorial, or maybe not. In either case, she’s declaring the words “Make It Stop” to be 100 percent correct. Who can argue with that logic?
This is the cover of the @BostonGlobe tomorrow – & they are 100% correct. #filibuster #holdthefloor pic.twitter.com/wO1CicfoWk

@OfficialJLD @BostonGlobe Yeah, I guess that's all the facts on the cover. Geez.

I worry anytime a complicated issue is boiled down to a single factor. "Making it stop" will require much more.

@HartHanson @BostonGlobe what are they doing about stopping it?

that wasn't even the gun used. We are blaming a object not the hatred behind the this killing.

Sounds like a liberal, bandages not solutions. Ideology is the wrong, not the tool. #gunsense

Why not a picture of Islamic terrorists? The actual threat.

There’s no time to get caught up in details; this issue (gun control, not terrorism, that is) is too important. Just pass something already.
Shout out to the @BostonGlobe for putting an ad for the AR-15 on its front cover.

I'll help by buying one to make sure at least that one will not fall into a terrorists hands.
