President Obama landed in Japan Wednesday night as his latest overseas apology tour continued, but before he left Vietnam, he held a town hall session in Ho Chi Minh City with the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative.
In true Obama style, the president didn’t hesitate to share his thoughts on just how bad the United States must look from overseas. This time, the same electoral process that put him in the White House twice was his target of derision.
"I think sometimes other countries look at our election system and people think, wow, what a mess," said @POTUS about US pres election.

Pres said sometimes US politics "doesn’t express all the goodness of the people." Says "usually, eventually," voters make good decisions.

Does this guy have to trash America everywhere he goes?
— AEWHITE (@AsheWhi) May 26, 2016
He doesn’t have to … but he does it anyway, out of deep-rooted respect for every country that isn’t the United States. Not surprisingly, Americans can relate; presidential elections have been a hot mess recently.
particularly in 2008

Fortunately, the town hall wasn’t all about politics, and the president was given the opportunity to confirm just how handsome he is.
Also at Town Meeting in Ho Chi Minh City, questioner told @POTUS he's "so handsome." "You can just stop there if you want," he replied.

And he’s welcome to stay there if he wants.
