In honor of #NationalPetDay, we thought readers might enjoy a retrospective post about Koko, the remarkable gorilla who learned the rudiments of sign language and used that skill to name her very own beloved pet kitten All Ball.
Sorry, we just re-read Chris Hayes’ tweet and it’s about something else entirely. Never mind.
Trump supporter who shoved protester in face says he likes Trump bc he's “no bullshit. All balls. Fuck you all balls. That’s what I’m about"

@chrislhayes is this real? This isn't real. Is this real?

@chrislhayes please tell me that's a verbatim quote Chris. As much as it pains me to hope that it is, I don't care.

Yes, a protester was shoved at a Donald Trump rally in Albany Monday night, and remarkably, the press had their eyes on the crowd and not the candidate and managed to catch video of the confrontation.

not a trump fan, but that was no fight.— Gary Braden (@bradengw) April 12, 2016
@KateSeckinger @bradengw I think the word to use is assault. Why sugarcoat it?

Spoke to a Trump supporter named Mike after the rally who admitted to pushing a protester in the face because he was yelling in his face.

He told me "I’ll snatch anybody up if they yell in my face over anything." https://t.co/6YonPuHJzT

Though the big news story of the day was Ted Cruz’s use of “Gestapo tactics” to sweep Colorado’s delegates right out from under Trump’s nose, reporters at tonight’s Trump rally were busy covering the crowd’s hostility toward them — not surprising the day after the Boston Globe published a fake front page describing the horrors of a Trump presidency.

The new hashtag for this Trump rally, apparently? https://t.co/wmuUCHy0Qv

Context of #GetOffTheStairs –> press standing on press riser getting yelled at in unison, part of a strategic effort of fans sitting behind
— Noah Gray (@NoahGrayCNN) April 11, 2016
The crowd sitting behind the press riser has been screaming at the media to "get off the f*@%ing stairs" because they cant see for 20 mins.

"And then you wonder why people hate the media" one says. We're in the campaign designated area, on the riser. https://t.co/t0tVdpXqry

Speaking of crowds, Trump managed to pack them in despite early reports of his campaign’s demise.

In the meantime, Bernie Sanders’ audience was substantially smaller and, reportedly, much more mellow.
